The President is pleased to announce that The United Cricket Club completed a successful 13^th Annual Conference held at FLC Auditorium, Waterbury, Connecticut on Saturday December 4, 2010 with an attendance of 215 Members, Fans and their families.

ELECTIONS

The following Officers were each unanimously elected:

President - Arnold Arnajallum (re-elected for 14^th consecutive term)

Vice President - Azam Rahamat (elected for 6^th consecutive term having served 8 preceding terms as Team Manager)

Secretary - Cecil Agimudie (re-elected for 13^th consecutive term)

Treasurer - Lakeram Nankoo (re-elected for 14^th consecutive term)

Team Manager - Rajin Nanku (elected for 6^th consecutive term

Having served 4 preceding terms as Vice President)

SPECIAL GUESTS

The Conference was graced with the attendance of Director of Operations of Waterbury Mayor’s Office Mr. .Joe Gairy, Deputy Fire Chief Mr. Dave Martin and CCL President Mr. Leslie Lowe.

CCL PRESIDENT’S ANNOUNCMENT

CCL President Mr. Leslie Lowe announced that The United Cricket Club, apart from winning the 35 Overs and T-20 Competitions, was the winner of the “Commonwealth Cricket League 2010 Club of the Year Award”.

AWARDS

• Twenty-six Trophies/Medals were presented to Players and Thirteen to Cricket Trainees
• The Players presented the Five Officers with Trophies in appreciation for their hard work and dedication. They also presented Lynne Arnajallum, Vashti Sumair and Natasha Nanku for attending most of the Home and Away Games.

GUEST SPEAKER/HONOREE

Director of Operations of Waterbury Mayor”s Office Mr. .Joe Gairy delivered a very inspiring Address after which he was presented with a Plaque in honor and recognition of his Support to and friendship with the Club.
